X has been using heroin for five years
He has been homeless since September 2004. Since coming to the centre he has been reunited with his parents and on the methadone programme for 4 weeks. He is currently looking for full time employment and has successfully passed level 1 in Drug Awareness.
X has been using Heroin for five years
and was starting to use the centre when she got sent to prison for shoplifting in January 2004, because of this her mother was given full custody of her two children. Free The Way kept contact with her throughout her sentence and when released she came to the Centre and she started on a methadone program. She has now began to work full time and has successfully passed Drugs Awareness course level 1 & 2 and began training to be a peer mentor. She spent time with her family at Free the Way and because of this her mother is now allowing her some access to her children.
