Successes

Since opening in 2002 Free the Way has had the following success:


01. Feed, cloth and provide washing facilities for over 50 homeless drug addicts

02. Over 65 referrals to Easington substance misuse information centre

03. Over 20 referrals at the drug intervention programme

04. Addicts facilitated to drug rehabilitation centre and others pending

05. 25 clients passed drug awareness course level 1, 20 clients passed level 2 + level 3

06. 7 clients re-united and living back with parents

07. 7 clients found housing accommodation

08. 13 clients facilitated back to work

09. 24 clients passed "Save a Life Course"

10. 10 clients starting food and hygiene course

11. Computer courses starting at centre

12. 8 parent + carers passed management course

13. Over 25 clients working with D.I.S.C. to assist them in getting back to work

14. Over 100 clients have made appointments with other organisations and kept their appointments

15. Over 100 substance misusers have been assessed to find out what their needs are and how we can help

16. Free The Way has answered numerous requests for help and information via the telephone or via email to its newly established website.
