Where Free the Way differs from other services is that the staff and volunteers know, from their own experience,
what it is like to care for someone with drug problems themselves so the advice they give comes from their own knowledge.

No other drug agency in the area offers the information and advice to parents and carers and helps facilitate families getting back together.
Free The Way has had marked success in mediating between substance misusers and their families and this has helped several local families come together and understand the problems they face

Free The Way continues to rely on the contribution of volunteers to help support its various objectives.
